The Light House

A couple of years back,
I saw a great light.
And this light was shinning so  bright it was impossible to ignore,
And so i decided to move forward and enter into the light,
And since then life has never remained the same,
Its always from one good thing to another , from big things to bigger things.
And then I thought about the people who were with me ,
Didn't they also see the light.

So I told the owner of the house that I would be back soon.
Upon getting back to where my friends were ,
I discovered that they could not look at me as I seemed to be shinning brighter than the sun its self.
I told of the great light I entered into and of the wonderful happiness that followed,
But they told me to go to hell, and called me a bible freak,
They told me they'd rather hold on to their bottles of beer and packets of cigarettes,
I tried to explain to them again ,
But they were deaf to everything I said,
They told me that there's nothing better than the life they had now,
And how they plan to spend it to the fullest,
Still stumbling in the darkness they stood up, shielding their eyes from the light.

Telling me good bye . I would have loved to hug them but I could not stain my white robes,
So I waved at them .
And went to the light afterwards .
A few seconds later I heard their screams .
They had fallen into a ditch again .
The next time I heard their screams was when they reached the cliff and took a dive into the fire.

And they I wept.

YOUR TALENT IS NOT YOUR PURPOSE

Your talent is not your purpose—it is a tool for expressing it. Many times, people confuse what they are good at with what they are called to do. But talent, in itself, is not the destination; it is the vehicle. Your purpose runs deeper than your skills. It is the reason why you were born, the divine assignment behind your existence. Your talent simply gives you a platform to practice and display that assignment. For example, if you're gifted in speaking, writing, music, or leadership, those are tools—not the purpose itself. God gave them to you so that through them, His plan for your life can find expression. Your calling is what gives your talent direction. Without purpose, talent becomes noise—loud, impressive, but lacking eternal impact. I had to learn that being talented doesn't mean I'm automatically walking in purpose. Purpose requires understanding, alignment, and surrender. Talent without purpose can make you famous, but talent aligned with purpose will make you fu...
