The Hidden Gift Inside You Will Surprise You

You were not created by accident, and neither were the gifts God placed within you. Long before you were born, He designed you with unique abilities that are meant to glorify Him and serve others. The challenge is that many people spend their lives comparing themselves with others instead of discovering what God has already deposited in them. Romans 12:6 to 8 reminds you that "we have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us." Your assignment begins when you recognize that your uniqueness is intentional.

One of the clearest ways to discover your God given gifts is by paying attention to what comes naturally to you, what burdens your heart, and where your service consistently produces godly fruit. Ask yourself, "What do I enjoy doing that blesses other people? What problems do I feel compelled to solve? What abilities do mature believers affirm in my life?" Often, your gifts become clearer as you faithfully serve in your local church and make yourself available for God's work instead of waiting for a perfect opportunity.

Your gifts are not given to make you famous but to make you faithful. First Peter 4:10 teaches that each believer should use whatever gift they have received to serve others as faithful stewards of God's grace. As you serve with humility, the Holy Spirit refines your abilities, builds your character, and increases your effectiveness. Excellence is developed through consistent practice, teachability, and dependence on God, not through natural talent alone.

Do not despise small beginnings or compare your journey with someone else's. Thank God for the gifts He has entrusted to you and commit to developing them with diligence. As you walk closely with Jesus, remain faithful in serving others, and allow the Holy Spirit to lead you, your gifts will become evident to those around you. The world does not need you to imitate another person. It needs the unique expression of God's grace that only you can offer.

Hope Expression Values You.
